“Tax affairs of an individual are confidential under Section 6(1) and (2) of the Tax Procedure Act and Section 125 of the Income Tax Act and the same are held as such,” said Ng’ang’a.
Mwangi had written to KRA requesting for full disclosure of Ruto’s wealth as part of his defense in a defamation case he is facing against the DP for calling him a thief, corrupt politician and murderer.
In his demand list, Mwangi wanted a list of all companies owned by Ruto, their directors and his shares and as well as dividends.
