KIKUYU woman arrested for causing panic by saying Family Bank is going under receivership

... social media.

Njeri’s arrest came as Family Bank assured customers on Thursday of a strong financial position amid rumours of financial hurdles and placement under receivership.

“We reassure our 1.7 million customers that we are open for business and you can count on us to continue serving you,” the bank said in a statement.

"Rest assured that we will live up to your expectations," the bank added.

Kenyans on social media have however accused Central Bank Governor, Dr Patrick Njoroge, of being behind the collapse of banks by protecting fraudsters and money launderers who are still roaming in the streets freely.
