Ford Kenya on fire as members kick WETANGULA out the party - Is this the end of him?

Thursday November 3, 2016 - Trouble is brewing in Ford Kenya after a section of members called for the removal of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as party leader ahead of the 2017 General Elections.

In a letter copied to the Registrar of Political Parties, Lucy Ndung’u, a group led by Peter Munyae, wants Wetangula kicked out and replaced as Party Leader for failing to call for a National Delegates Conference (NDC) since 2011.

“The Ford Kenya Constitution requires that you convene NDC at least once every two years. The last NDC was held in 2011 and no plausible reasons have been advanced by yourself, the National Executive Council or the party leader to explain this disregard of the party Constitution,” Munyae stated in a letter.

However, on his part, Wetangula dismissed Munyae terming him a stranger in the party.

Munyae claims to be the de-facto Secretary General of Ford Kenya.
