UHURU told to apologise for insulting the Auditor General EDWARD OUKO in State HousePolitics 00:00
... the Kisumu Senator.
“The Auditor-General is constitutionally empowered to go anywhere on earth looking for evidence in doing his work.”
“His Excellency cannot audit himself nor can he prescribe to the auditor how to do his work," Nyong’o stated.
The Auditor General had indicated that he wanted to travel to New York to interview Federal Reserve Bank officials in New York, following claims that they could have taken part in falsifying Kenya’s records on the Eurobond.
Nyong'o says that Ouko is within his right to do so.
“It is his job.”
“Let the man do it without interference," he added.
