UHURU may fire RUTO after this - See what Rift Valley MP has told him to do before 2017Editor's Choice 14:30
Saturday, October 1, 2016 - An MP allied to the Jubilee Party has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to tame his Deputy, William Ruto, or else he will lose Rift Valley votes in 2017.
Speaking yesterday, Emurua Dikkir MP, Johana Ng’eno, accused Ruto of being arrogant and disrespectful to other elected leaders in the region, something he said might cost Uhuru the Presidency in 2017 if he does contain him early enough.
He said if the President does not tame Ruto and stop him from hurling insults against elected leaders in the region, then Rift Valley residents will not vote for him in the 2017 General Election.
“Uhuru should tame Ruto or else he forgets our support. He has been abusing elected leaders who do not subscribe to his school of thought”, said Ng’eno.
“The DP should stop the arrogance and learn to respect elected leaders, he should not coerce us to join Jubilee Party”, she added.
Ng’eno is among those who have shown reluctance in joining the new Jubilee Party after URP was dissolved.
