RAILA asks UHURU to resign after his relatives were involved in the sh5 billion scandal

Sunday October 30, 2016 - Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign from office over the sh5 billion scandal in the Ministry of Health.

This is after his cousin, Kathleen Kihanya, and his sister, Nyokabi Muthama, were linked to the scandal which has left many Kenyans in shock.

According to the audit report, a company by the name Sundales International Limited, which Nyokabi and Kihanya are directors, was involved in the scandal.

The report reveals the company received a whooping sh41 million from the sh5 billion that was allegedly looted from the Ministry through underhand dealings, inflated prices and irregular tendering process.

Speaking in Vihiga, Raila challenged Uhuru to do the right thing and step down because he can no longer fight corruption since his family is deeply involved in fleecing public coffers.

He vowed to do the unthinkable if Uhuru will not resign from office over the recent corruption among other scandals.
