MP begs RAILA to chase him from ODM and says UHURU will give me money for by-electionNews 23:48
Friday October 28, 2016 - Sirisia Member of Parliament, John Waluke, has dared former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to do his worst and chase him out of ODM, saying he is ready for a by-election.
This follows a move by the party to kick him and several other MPs, who allegedly defected to Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee Party, out of key Parliamentary committees.
Speaking yesterday, Waluke said that he was upset by ODM’s move to remove him from House Committees and dared them to go ahead and delete his name from the ODM register as well, saying he is ready to face the electorate in a by-election because Uhuru/ Ruto will give him money for the mini poll.
“ODM did not bring me to Parliament. I was elected by the honourable people of Sirisia. It is unfair for the party to deny me my Constitutional right to represent the people of Sirisia and I dare them to delete me from the party register,” said Waluke.
