MARTHA KARUA also rejects RAILA ODINGA and says she has not and will never join CORDNews 09:57
Saturday, October 1, 2016 - NARC Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua has also rejected former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, saying her party has not joined CORD.
Speaking in Nakuru on Thursday, Karua revealed that her party is independent and was never a member of CORD and neither is it intending to join the coalition.
She noted that even though she continues to work closely with Raila Odinga and CORD, her generosity should not be misinterpreted.
Karua insisted that her party will field all candidates for various seats in 2017 and will never coalesce with any other party of coalition.
“NARC Kenya is all about offering alternative leadership to Kenyans and we are working towards that. We will be fielding candidates for all elective seats including the President in 2017. We are in the process of rolling out a members recruitment drive in all corners of the country in preparation for the 2017 polls,” said Karua.
“Let it be made clear that we are an independent party and as much as we are working with other Opposition parties, we remain to be independent as NARC Kenya,” she added.
