Governor TIMAMY defects from Jubilee three weeks after joining - See who he has joined

Saturday, October 1, 2016 - Lamu Governor Issa Timamy has defected from the new Jubilee Party barely three weeks after joining.

Timamy ditched Jubilee Party even after being paraded at Kasarani by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, as among the Opposition Governors who have joined the new outfit.

The Lamu Governor, who was elected on the DF party, rejoined his former boss and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader, Musalia Mudavadi.

He denied allegations that he had joined the Jubilee Party saying Mudavadi is his man and will never support any other person.

Other UDF politicians, who have refused to join Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee Party after it was dissolved to form the new outfit and instead joined ANC include MPs Yusuf Chanzu (Vihiga), Alfred Sambu (Webuye East), John Bunyasi (Nambale) and Alfred Agoi (Sabatia).

Speaking yesterday, Chanzu revealed that he would be running for Vihiga Governor on an ANC ticket come 2017.
