Good news to Kenyans! Banks and supermarkets ordered to put up free toilets for clients.

... their customers and those who will try charging them.

“All supermarkets should have sanitation facilities accessible by clients.”

“The Ministry shall not allow management to charge clients because we are running away from open defecation.”

“Those that will not comply will be closed.”

“Management should therefore decide on whether they are running sanitation business or selling products," said Ombacho.

Ombacho’s directive comes a month after Central Bank of Kenya Governor, Dr Patrick Njoroge, threatened to close banks that will fail to provide proper sanitation to their customers.

Most banks and supermarkets in Kenya have no toilets for their customers!
