GITHU MUIGAI reveals why we can never fight corruption in Kenya! It is not him to blame

... Judiciary has become the order of the day and that is why corruption cases are delayed for years without justice being served.

But in his defence, President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Paul Kihara, differed with Githu saying the buck stops with the Office of the Attorney General.

“I would like to differ with my learned colleague, the Attorney-General.”

“Yes, we have the biggest backlog, but part of the reason these cases take long is [that] we have problems when these cases come to us.”

“The investigation in many cases is appalling,” Kihara said.

“We have had to send cases back because either counsel or prosecutors don’t show up and if they show up they are not prepared.”

“That leads to adjournment.” Kihara added.

  1. Obviously no one to blame. These guys should all be lined up and shot
Kenya is going no where with this lot. A teacher rapes, they get a transfer. A police kills, he get a transfer. A civil servant steals, they become politicians and start making laws. What chance do we have.

  2. If they can't fight corruption they should all resign

  3. Then Parliament has made weak laws may be deliberately because they stole to become policians after they used their stolen loot to bribe voters. People with corruption cases should not be given bond in my view. They should feel the pain of living without freedom even if they have stolen money which they can't use to pay for bond or corrupt judges because bail will not exist.

  4. KENYA HAS NEVER HAD SUCH A STUPID ATTORNEY GENERAL LIKE GITHU MUIGAI WHO SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED TO PLEASE HIS BOSS THE PRESIDENT

  5. corruption in the courts is BIG bussiness. A country with no judicial system is doomed to fail but God is Judge of all Judges.

  6. Who will bell the cat?
