Forget ANNE WAIGURU, this is the ODM’s top official who looted NYS with his familyCounty Politics, News 10:22
Saturday, October 1, 2016 - Funyula Member of Parliament, Paul Otuoma, has denied any involvement either directly or indirectly in the looting at the National Youth Service (NYS).
This is after former NYS Deputy Director, Adan Harakhe, linked Otuoma to the theft of sh 791 million at the institution.
Speaking when he appeared before a Parliamentary Committee probing the scandal, Harakhe revealed that a company owned by a close relative to Otuoma was among those that benefited from the controversial tenders.
He said the ODM MP had used his influence when he served as Minister for Youth and Sports to give his brother business at NYS.
However, Otuoma has denied any knowledge of the so called ‘brother’, saying he does not have a brother by the name Otuoma who was implicated in the NYS scandal.
He added that he had no association with any company that had done business with the NYS.
“I don’t know this person and I don’t have any patency on the name Otuoma. Let him produce evidence that I am related to him,” said Otuoma.
