Armed with placards and twigs and chanting anti-Jubilee slogans, the protesters marched along the streets of Makutano Town disrupting business.
They hit out at the Deputy President for insulting Lonyangapuo and gave him only two days to apologize, failure to which he should never set foot in West Pokot.
They also warned the DP to stop meddling in the political affairs of their County and let the people decide for themselves about their future.
“The Deputy President should leave the electorate to decide for themselves and not force them to join the new Jubilee Party,” said Mnagei Ward MCA, James Kapelion.
