Among those who defected include MCAs Daniel Tuwit (Ripko), Isaiah Kibowen (Marigat), Jackson Kaparkei (Mochongoi), James Kapedo (Laikipia North), Maria Logile (Loyamorok), Peter Kagathi (Maji Mazuri), Sammy Louren (Tirioko) and Solomon Makal (Kolowa).
Silale MCA, Nelson Lotela, said,
“we have seen JP has its own people and it would not lead us anywhere after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term ends.”
The MCAs also said there is a lot of discrimination in Jubilee and that is why they made a decision to join KANU.
