Omar said Joho doesn’t need a place to stay in, when thousands of Mombasa residents are living in abject poverty.
Omar, who is also the Wiper Party Secretary General, spoke during a public forum on the Mombasa budget review at the Whitesands Hotel.
Sources say that Joho is buying the palatial house to show Jubilee leaders that Mombasa County can survive on its own and can have a State House like the one in Nairobi which is the official residence of the President.
