Man in court for DEFILING a GOAT in Murang’aCounty News 15:59
Saturday 24th August 2013 - A middle aged man was yesterday charged in a Murang’a court with bestiality.
Stephen Maina was accused of raping a goat at his home on the 13th of June last year and escaped after committing the heinous crime.
The court was told that the accused tied the goat at a pole after he found it grazing on open fields. He then started raping it only for the goat to start bleating.
Witnesses told the court that Maina had the habit of defiling animals and had earlier on been caught defiling a cow at a neighbour’s home.
The prosecutor told the court that the accused had raped the goat and was caught by the owner while in the act.
He however denied the charge before the Senior Resident Magistrate stating that the owner of the goat had “beef” with him and was framing him up.
The magistrate noted the evidence presented before the court saying that the accused was guilty as charged. He sentenced him to two years in jail.
