Two brothers kill sister’s BOYFRIEND for flirting with her in Busia

Friday 15th March 2013 - Police in Busia are investigating an incident in which two brothers allegedly killed a form two student accusing him of flirting with their younger sister.
The deceased, Patrick Bindi, 18, was attacked and killed in Adungosi trading Center in Teso South District while he had gone to visit his girlfriend.

Speaking to the media, his Uncle Benjamin Omukaga said that Patrick was ambushed, beaten up and injured by the two brothers who apparently had set a trap for him.

Sources reveal that he was called by his girlfriend who requested him to visit her in Adungosi on Tuesday. It is said that when the girl was escorting him home, her two brothers emerged and attacked him with crude weapon inflicting serious body injuries.

He noted that the two brothers armed with clubs, beat up the man accusing him of taking advantage of their younger sister.

The uncle said that efforts from the girl and passersby to intervene and save the man bore no fruit since the two had already injured him and fled.

He was rushed to Alupe Sub –District Hospital where he died on arrival.

Family members have reported the matter to Adungosi police station and police are hunting the two brothers who ran away after committing the heinous act.

The CID Boss Washington Muthee explained that postmortem results proved that the student was hit by a blunt object on the head.

He assured the bereaved family that the two culprits will be arrested and brought to book. They will be arraigned in court and charged with murder.
