Tension as Muguga School staff find watchman DEAD

Tuesday 26th March 2013 - Tension is high in Kabete after a watchman at Muguga Wa Gatonye Secondary School was killed on Saturday morning during a raid.

Musa Mwangi’s body was discovered by a cook at 6am dumped in one of the rooms in the school. He had strangulation marks around his head and a cut on his forehead.

The Principal of the school, Rahab Ndoro said that the gang made away with valuables worth more than Sh200, 000. Ndoro termed Musa’s demise as a blow to the school’s fraternity. He added that they were saddened by the death of a man who was a good worker.

Area Police boss Joshua Opiyo visited the scene to confirm the death. He said they suspected the theft was conducted by locals who knew the deceased well and were able to maneuver around the school. Investigations were underway.

The body of the deceased was taken to City Mortuary.
