February 06, 2013 - Years back Ghetto radio’s Bonoko was spotted
by Maji Maji after he was featured on Citizen TV narrating to reporters an
incident where a man was shot dead by police officers in Ngara.
The phrase ‘yule
hakuwa mwizi anausanga mutura pare ngara, alikutwa na polisi akachapwa
bonoko……” became very popular in the social media network and there after
he became a crowd puller at the official sheng station.
Well another man whose name is Jose has emerged to have
taken over Bonoko’s fame after he was caught on camera saying ...So walikuwa
wezi kwa gari, me I was there Pare kwa car wash. I witnessed ni kama ndrama ni
kama vindeo.
The phrase ni kama ndrama ni
kama vindeo has become very popular and generated several facebook pages
which are attracting thousands of fans. Well Jose is now riding high as he was
recently featured at Royal Media Services Inooro where he talked about the
incident and his life.
If his popularity on social media
is anything to go by Jose might just become the next Bonoko.
