Prepare for a tough battle - MAINA NJENGA warns SONKO and WANJIRU as he joins the Nairobi SENATE RACE

Friday January 25, 2013 - Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga has warned
immediate former Makadara MP Mike Sonko and outgoing Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru
to prepare for a bruising battle in the Nairobi Senate seat.
Maina, who is the Kenya
Solidarity Movement party leader, was cleared to run for the seat on his party
ticket and said he would carry a serious campaign for the seat.
The former Mungiki leader,
who is full of blood on his hands, said he had a marshal plan to transform the
city to a world economic hub.
Maina said he has enough
supporters in Nairobi who will make him the Senator on March 4th
general election,
“We shall be competing for
the youth vote in Nairobi. A perfect opportunity has come to show who has the
youth support in the city. I am telling Sonko and Wanjiru to brace for a tight
race,” Maina said.
Mkenya Solidarity Movement
is part of the Coalition for Reform and Democracy CORD coalition.
CORD coalition is
associated with Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
