MPs who STOLE from CDF MONEY are in big TROUBLE from EACCNews 01:33
Wednesday, the 30th of January 2013 - The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has promised to take strong action against any members of parliament from the 10th parliament who will be found guilty of stealing from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) kitty during their stint.
The anti-graft body promised to do a thorough study of a report issued yesterday by the National Tax payers Association (NTA) which lays out, in specific detail the way different constituencies in the country managed their CDF allocation.
The EACC said that it would advice on appropriate legal action against the immediate former MPs after it has identified how the CDF was mismanaged or looted for personal gain.
The NTA report yesterday ranked Belgut, Runyenjes, Galole, Magarini, Kitutu Chache and Wajir West constituencies as the best run while the worst run were those of Khwisero, Isiolo North, Rongo, Ikolomani and Hamisi.
