ODM rally disrupted by a GIANT SNAKE

December 28, 2012 - A rally organised by ODM Minister Amason Kingi
was on Monday disrupted by a giant snake that slithered into the podium.
The incident which occurred at Rea Vipingo grounds, forced
all guests seated at the dais, including Mr Kingi who is also the Fisheries Development
Minister to run for safety.
The snake appeared from the crowd and made its way into the
dais and efforts by the crowd to kill it bore no fruit.
Some youth eventually killed the snake as the bodyguards
shielded the Minister.
The meeting was the first public rally to be convened by the
Minister since his attack in Mtwapa by armed youths in October.
In the October incident, four people were killed including Kingi’s
bodyguard.
