the weekend, the Niko Na Safaricom live concerts concluded their five month
tour with a world class
grand finale held at Nairobi’s Impala Grounds, along Ngong’ road.
Exclusive performances from artists
who have been on tour during the grass roots concerts were all present rocking
the gallery of fans. Dance competitions, quick-fire scratch card competition
were among the many fun events which took place.
On stage gospel group M.O.G. opened
the performances setting the pace for the day, all boy band Sauti Sol, hip hop
group Camp Mulla, Jimmy Gait, Size 8 and Kigeugeu singer Jaguar electrifying
the stage
Ending the day in style were guest
performances from dancehall king Redsan, Juliani and Mombasa based artist Ally
B.
Safaricom C.E.O. Bob Collymore
promised bigger things next year.
