Tuesday December 25, 2012 - Roads Assistant Minister Franklin Bett has
been appointed as the chairman of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Elections
board.
Bett,
who is also the Bureti MP, last week announced his retirement from active politics
and this might be his final political nest.
The
eloquent Minister, who has been a tough defender of Prime Minister Raila Odinga
in the rebellious Rift Valley region quit politics after a heavy rebellion in
his county over his ODM candidature.
Meanwhile
Royal Media Services (RMS) chairman SK Macharia and former Attorney General
Charles Mugane Njonjo have been appointed as summit members of the Coalition
for Reform and Democracy (CORD).
Macharia
and Njonjo will work out on the modalities of strengthening CORD alliance country wide.

Sir Charles is respectable and very powerful and one of the longest serving AG. Always a level higher than all the group. This is what I feel about this great man.

Mather Davis you are very wrong on SK macharia I know him to be a generous man wait until ill disasters hit you and you will know him to be an angle he has helped may disperate cases ( in public domain) aired in news and in charity events. As for Njonjo yes he is old but not a lunatic as you said Njonjo is very smart I know that and I cannot reveal much in this forum. We ought to thank him for saving the country. He scuttled the Kiambu Mafia aganist Moi otherwise we would be worse off now in Kenya that in the hand of those mafia guys. Thank God Kenyatta was visionery.
