In the recent past, Prime Minister Raila Odinga has met up with
several local artists. Raila has used the youthful opinion leaders for
endorsement. After the meetings with the secular artistes , other politicians
have started following suit.
The late Wamalwa
Kijana’s younger brother-Eugene Wamalwa has targeted gospel artists. He
is said to be working hand in hand with Ringtone and Man Igwe.
Ringtone is famed
for tunes such as Pamela, Gospel
Inabamba, Usichague Kazi andTalanta. Man Ingwe on the other hand has made a name for himself with
songs such as Ugali Saucer and
Boda boda yangu.
The two artists are
always in the company of Eugene Wamalwa. Last week; Wamalwa who heads the New
Ford Kenya Party introduced the two artistes claiming that they are friends to
the party.
He went ahead to
say that the two will be working with the party to ensure that they rise to new
heights. They will be helping Eugene with his presidential bid. To top it up,
they gave a thrilling performance to an audience that had gathered for the
rally.
Man Ingwe and
Ringtone add up to a list of artists such as Kenya’s BBA representative and
rapper Prezzo, Redsan and Jaguar who are rumoured to be eyeing parliamentary
seats in the future.

This will not change voters decision
the trio are lugha and the party is a lugha so wat a big deal.
The musician using the name "ingwe", wewe wacha mchezo... and Eugene should know with this strategy the runoff will be between RAO and UK - in this case even your Bukusu tribe will not back UK even if you are his running mate.....
Endorsement is not voters decision.
