Media News 07:00
Friday, August 03, 2012 – Word has it British
Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has hired Q Fm’s Paul Nasibwa and NTV’s Emmanuel
Igunza and is planning to deploy the ever jolly KTN’s Swahili News anchor
Mwanaisha Chidzuga.
The broadcasting station has been facing a lot of competition
from local stations which have taken over the industry. In a move to revive the
station, the management is planning to go for Kenyan News personalities before
the launch of the station’s new television programme which will be airing
African News.
Chidzuga was formerly employed by Kenya Broadcasting Corporation
before she moved to KTN as a News anchor.
Paul Nabiswa was formerly with Nation Media Group's QFM while Igunza who previously worked with Catholic’s Radio Waumini has been with the Nation Media Group.
