KTN loses again to Citizen TV: SHAME on the management

Friday, August 17, 2012 - Wondering where Mshamba of Radio Maisha is? Well reports now in indicate that Mshamba quit the standard group owned radio station last Friday after mismanagement of the Crazy Monday comedy nites held at Hilton hotel every first Friday of the month.

Mshamba with other comedians hosting the upcoming show are headed to Citizen TV as the station will offer them a good pay and more audience of their comedy show Kenya Kona Komedy nites, which will be held every first Monday of the month.

Apparently Standard Group production manager Michael Ndetei is losing most of the best shows for its competitor Citizen TV. According to Mshamba KTN lost the deal to host Cheche talk show when CCTV’s Editor Emmanuel Talam brought up the idea, Churchill live and XYZ shows are other most watched shows that KTN lost due to mismanagement.

Kenya Kona Komedy nites will launch on September 3 and later televised on Citizen TV. Mshamba, Otoyo and Jalang’o are promising Kenyans a lot of laughter in the new upcoming show and have recruited 18 other upcoming comedians with whom they have been working with for approximately 10 months.

  4. K.T.N ni ya things dealing with O.D.M.
Just produce something like O.D.M show Raila live,JALUO night and i assure you they will have no issues of mismanagement

  5. KTN is so boring nowadys what happend to those nice movies ati mnaleta IEBC countdown on a Sunday afternon, do u expect the kids on holiday to watch that, be more creative.

  6. even if citizen poaches everyone from bbc, their trademark is nothing but gutter press, they r so un professional.

  7. Both Kazuku medias are run by baboons and gibbons &both primates loves only ripe bananas!

  8. KTN up with your game do not let the other media houses overtake you as you have been there long enough. Create beeter working conditions and better pay with your employees and you will bounce back once more and be on top there BUT can your top most guy not sleep on the job as this is a race marathon with other media houses. Do not accept defeat so stand firm and bring out the best and not let other media houses grab your people from you if they are giving them double what you offer, then tripple it and also make your programmes up to date and especially soaps and cartoons for the kids and also movies. Please don't let us down.

  9. Saddest thing is that KTN was trying to shortchange a group of talented, young, Kenyans trying to make a living and are now about to get embattled on a silly battle to ensure these young men dont excell-how low can you stoop when you are supposed to be an example and even mentoring and supporting such talent to grow-competition is good for business, develop your own product and hope it sells itself!
