Kambua weds at Windsor

Monday, April 09, 2012 - This Saturday was the big day for
gospel artist Kambua Manundu as she said ‘I do to the love of her life Jackson
Mathu.” Mathu is a Kenyan pastor and business man. The wedding reception was at
Ridgeways Garden and family and their friends did not frustrate but came in
plenty.
The theme colour of
the wedding was shades of brown. The beautiful cake was highlighted with
beautiful red roses.
Among those in the
guest list were Esther Wahome who performed at the wedding. Esther who has been
married for 16 year gave the newlyweds advise and told them of the possibility
of staying married and happy.
Other performances
were by Mercy Masika and Coast based Marsha Mapenzi. Other guests who graced
the ceremony included Alice Kamande, SK Blue, Nancy Kihenia and Churchill.
The Kenyan DAILY POST had earlier on reported on
the wedding. Famed for her song, ‘Umetenda mema’, Kambua Manundu is not new in the gospel scene.
The long wait is now over.
Kambua is set to kiss loneliness goodbye as she marries Jackson Mathu who
she has been in a relationship with since days when they were both students at
the Berkeley College of Music. The wedding is set to be attended by top artists
from the East African region.
Jackson works with Papa Centre
Charismatic church. The church was earlier on based in Panari Centre before it
moved to Mombasa road.
In the past, Kambua has been
faced with a lot of rumors on her past relationship. Significantly was one with
singer Mbuvi. Apparently, Mbuvi famed for the song, ‘Kwata kawaya’ who
is out of Nairobi has claimed that he will send Kambua a congratulatory message
as he cannot make it to her
